Dear Colleagues on board,
It has come to the Company’s attention that in several cases, ISM forms like MR 58, 61, 62 and more have not been completed with the accuracy and truthfulness required by our Safety Management System. This practice is unacceptable and undermines both safety and compliance.
Please be reminded of the following:
Truthful Information is Essential
The ISM system relies entirely on accurate reporting. Only correct and truthful information can support effective maintenance, operational safety, and compliance with international regulations.
False, incomplete, or misleading entries render the system ineffective and compromise the integrity of our operations.
Zero Tolerance for False Reporting
Any falsification, misrepresentation, or deliberate omission of required information will be treated as an attempt at fraud.
Such actions will immediately trigger disciplinary proceedings, which may include removal from command and further sanctions in accordance with Company policy.
Your Responsibility as Master
As Captain, you are personally responsible for ensuring that all forms under your authority are completed truthfully, fully, and in a timely manner.
You are expected to verify the accuracy of submissions and ensure your officers and crew understand the importance of compliance.
Our collective reputation, the safety of our people, and the protection of the environment depend on your commitment to honesty and professionalism.
Strict adherence to this directive is expected from all Captains, without exception.
